Today it's one of those days that exist only in Japan and nowhere else in the world. As everyone must know, Japanese celebrate Valentine's day in their own way. Girls or women are supposed to give chocolates to boys or men. There are many "types" of chocolates you can give but mostly 3: Honmei choco, giri choco and tomo choco (which is the one girls give to their female friends instead and comes from the word tomodachi 友達 and chocolate)
A month later, men usually reciprocate and give women a little something for what they call White day. It doesn't have to be chocolate, some other sweets work as well. This year I didn't give any chocolates to anyone so no sweets for me on White day.
I've been thinking about opening an etsy shop to sell some stuff from Japan for deco and also maybe making uchiwas for concerts in Japan. I'll think about it.
